Anachronisms

“The representation of someone as existing or something as happening in other than chronological, proper, or historical order.”

For instance, TV antennas on the roofs of houses in a Jane Austen period drama. Jet vapour trails in the skies of a Western movie. General Patton packing a Blackberry.

Or a steam locomotive with a web address painted on the tender.

The Tornado project is well worth reading about, though.
